Mobilization occurs in cities where the program Grandes Obras pela Infância is implemented, which develops initiatives to strengthen the network for protection of the rights of children and teenagers
On the next few days, six cities where there are construction works or activities from Construtora Camargo Correa promote actions to celebrate the May 18th – National Day to Fight the Abuse and Sexual Exploitation of Children and Teenagers. The mobilization of professionals and communities around the topic happens in places where there are actions from the program Grandes Obras pela Infância [Great Works for Childhood], which develops activities to strengthen the network for protection of the rights of children and teenagers, in partnership with Instituto Camargo Correa (ICC) and with Childhood Brazil.
The activities with the communities are held in Fortaleza (CE), Alcântara (MA), São Luís (MA), Altamira (PA), Abre Campo (MG), and Jaci-Paraná (RO).
In Alcântara, the project Comunicação pela Infancia [Communication for Childhood] will promote the Barraquinha do Faça Bonito [Good Job Tent], exhibiting photo posters produced by the project’s teenagers and planting flowers in cellophane paper. In Minas Gerais, in the city of Abre Campo, the celebrations will be held through the project Fio de Proteção [Protection Wire], with multiplier sensitization activities and presentation of the City Plan to Face Sexual Violence, enabled through the project. In Jaci-Paraná, through the project Aqui, Jaci Fala [Here, Jaci Speaks], there will be a play by Teatro do Oprimido and a walk for the community. Fortaleza, Altamira and São Luis are also scheduling activities for the coming days
